What is ICS in a nutshell?
The Incident Command System (ICS) Is a flexible, scalable system that provides a common framework for providing emergency response and managing resources for incidents. Developed in the 1970s in response to massive wildfires in California, ICS is the standard, battle tested system used throughout the U.S. fire service.
