This week the PowerEdge VRTX platform was officially rolled out during the opening keynotes at the Dell Enterprise Forum. In addition, it was also on display at the Microsoft TechEd 2013 conference in New Orleans. It contains servers, storage, networking and management integrated together in a single compact chassis. If you weren’t able to attend Dell Enterprise Forum or TechEd to see the PowerEdge VRTX in person you can still get an early look at this new platform. Microsoft’s John Loveall delivered a breakout session at TechEd covering Cluster in a Box (CiB) systems. During the session Microsoft mentions that the PowerEdge VRTX is “What can happen if you really focus on a customer solution to bring a cool system to market”. Check it out:
