Dell introduces Dell SonicWALL SRA 7.5 and Mobile Connect 3.0 at RSA 2014

Continuing to provide best-in-class remote access technology for small and medium size businesses, Dell introduces Dell SonicWALL Secure Remote Access (SRA) 7.5 firmware. This latest release supports many new features such as RDP or VNC over HTML5, Secure File Browse for SonicWALL Mobile Connect running on iOS or Android, End Point Control improvements to support enforcement of profiles on iOS or Android devices and more. Dell SonicWALL SRA 7.5 is available for customers and partners using the SRA appliances 1200, 4200, 1600, 4600 or Virtual Appliance. RDP and VNC over HTML5 provides the ability for a user coming in through the portal to access a computer or server located on the protected networking using standard web browser. This new support also allows users from touch screen devices to leverage RDP or VNC access without the need for a client as an alternative.

The Secure File Browser feature allows users running SonicWALL Mobile Connect on iOS or Android devices to access documents stored on a file share resources without requiring the use of file browser app, providing a more simplified user experience. Additionally, the administrator has secure controls to limit the opening of documents by other apps, copy, print and cache.
